Your drawings are always brilliant, but what I love so much are the soft smudgy textures of the paper and pencil!

oh thank you! when i know that the result will look good i am ready to spend a lot of time with the background. and drawing background is quite the same as drawing the character actually. i mean the background itself is the drawing as well as other things on the paper.. if you know what i mean.. haha
